Generation prompt
Stage a dramatic reveal of a blind-box secret chase figure based on the person in the reference image. Keep the hairstyle silhouette and head shape recognisable while pushing the finish far beyond the standard colourways. Figure: the same sculpt as a designer vinyl figure, oversized head, blank expressionless face, short tapered limbs; the surface is pearlescent with a subtle iridescent sheen shifting from teal to violet, the clothing is translucent smoked vinyl revealing a faint internal sparkle, and one small metallic accessory catches the light. The figure stands on a base shaped like a cracked pavement slab with a faint glow line running through the crack. Scene: a dark charcoal card box standing behind the figure with only a single star-shaped foil stamp on the front and no other markings, plus a torn foil wrapper in the foreground. Lighting: a hard key from the upper right for crisp specular edges, a cool rim from the left, haze in the air so the rim light becomes a visible beam, everything else falling into near black. 4:5 vertical framing, tight composition with the figure filling most of the frame. Dramatic collectible photography, no illustration style, no readable text, no logos.

What it is used for

  • Follow the blind box trend on social media by releasing one character in several colorways and posting them as a set.
  • Series concept images for designer-toy and craft accounts.
  • As a gift: build a personal blind box for someone.
  • Display and packaging concept images for small businesses selling toy products.

Figure With Opened Box

The standard setup: a complete box-opening shot.

5 credits

Nano Banana 2image → image3:4 · 2K

Reference photos: One front-facing portrait, half-body. The figure keeps the hairstyle silhouette and the main clothing color, and everything else is turned into designer-toy language.

Turn the person in the reference image into a designer blind-box vinyl figurine displayed beside its opened box. Keep the hairstyle silhouette, hair colour and main clothing colour recognisable, and translate the rest into a collectible toy. Figure: oversized head with a smooth matte vinyl surface, a blank expressionless face with two painted dots for eyes and a tiny straight mouth line, short tapered limbs, chunky rounded shoes, the head about one third of the total height. Finish: soft matte vinyl with a satin sheen, a faint mould seam at the shoulder, no gloss anywhere. Base: a sculpted base shaped like a slice of pavement with a tiny painted puddle and a bent street sign, matte grey with two subtle scuff marks. Box: a flat matte cardboard box lying open on the surface, its front panel carrying only a five-letter wordmark in a bold geometric face and a single solid colour block, with no other markings; a thin tissue paper sheet spills out of the opening. Scene: a light grey studio sweep with a soft gradient, one small colour proof card leaning against the base. Lighting: two soft boxes, gentle contact shadows, a soft highlight along the top of the head. Catalog product photography, 3:4 framing, shallow depth of field. No logos, no readable text beyond the wordmark, no illustration style.
Negative prompt
gibberish text, brand logos, glossy surfaces, baby-doll style, realistic human face, cluttered background, extra figures, watermarks

Reference only — the image models available here do not take a separate negative prompt, so this list is guidance for editing the prompt above.

Why this works: Standard variant. Keep only one short phrase on the front of the box and check the spelling after the image comes out; if it is misspelled, replace the mark with a solid color block.

Four Colourway Family

One character released as four figures in different colorways, displayed as a set.

7 credits

Nano Banana Proimage → image3:2 · 2K

Reference photos: One front-facing portrait; this set produces four figures of the same character in different colorways, so the master description has to stay consistent.

Create a catalog photograph of four matching designer blind-box figurines in a row on a light grey sweep, all four based on the person in the reference image and sharing the same sculpt: oversized head about one third of the total height, blank expressionless face with two painted dots for eyes and a tiny straight mouth, short tapered limbs, chunky rounded shoes, soft matte vinyl with a satin sheen and a faint mould seam at the shoulder. Keep the hairstyle silhouette identical across all four and only vary the colourway: left to right, dusty sage green with a cream scarf, terracotta orange with a navy cap, pale lilac with a mint bag, and charcoal grey with a single small silver badge. Each figure stands on a small sculpted base shaped like a slice of pavement; the bases share the same shape and differ only in painted tone. Pose identical across the four, arms hanging slightly away from the body, heads turned a few degrees to the left. Lighting: two soft boxes with a gentle top key, soft contact shadows, even colour reproduction so the four colourways read as one family. Wide 3:2 catalog framing with equal spacing between figures. No text, no logos, no glossy surfaces.
Negative prompt
different sculpts, different proportions, glossy plastic, extra figures, uneven spacing, gibberish text, HDR, watermarks

Reference only — the image models available here do not take a separate negative prompt, so this list is guidance for editing the prompt above.

Why this works: Set variant. All four figures can only use the same master passage, changing just the colors and one accessory; as soon as the sculpt description changes, they become four different characters.

Secret Chase Reveal

For a post showing that the secret figure was pulled.

10 credits

GPT Image 2.5 Sunburstimage → image4:5 · 2K

Reference photos: One portrait; the secret figure allows exaggerated treatment such as metallic paint and translucent parts, but the silhouette still has to read as the same person.

Why this works: Secret variant. The metallic paint and the translucent parts are the appeal; if the figure starts to look like a glass statue, delete 'translucent smoked vinyl' and keep only the pearl finish.

Text-Only Blind Box Sample

For page samples and low-cost stress testing.

3 credits

Nano Banana 2 Litetext → image1:1 · 1K

A catalog-style product photograph of a single designer blind-box vinyl figurine beside its opened box on a light grey studio sweep. Figure: an oversized head about one third of the total height, a blank expressionless face with two painted dots for eyes and a tiny straight mouth line, short tapered limbs, chunky rounded shoes, soft matte vinyl with a satin sheen, one faint mould seam at the shoulder, a dusty sage green outfit with a cream scarf. Base: a sculpted matte grey base shaped like a slice of pavement with a small painted puddle. Box: flat matte cardboard lying open with only a five-letter wordmark in bold geometric letters and one solid colour block on its front panel, no other markings. Lighting: two soft boxes, soft contact shadows and a gentle highlight on the top of the head. Shallow depth of field, clean collectible product photography, no glossy surfaces, no logos, no additional text, no HDR.

Why this works: Text-only sample variant. If you need several colorways, change the color words directly and leave the rest of the description untouched.

Use this prompt

If the result is wrong, change this first

The text on the box comes out as gibberish.

Keep only a three-to-five-letter series mark and one small color block on the front of the box, write 'no other markings' for the rest, and do not spell out any specific Chinese or long English words.

The figure looks like a baby toy and comes out too cute.

Push the description toward designer-toy language: 'blank expressionless face with two painted dots for eyes', 'oversized head with a smooth matte surface', 'a designer-toy silhouette rather than a baby doll'.

The base looks like a plastic brick.

Describe the base as a slice of a scene: 'a sculpted base shaped like a slice of pavement with a tiny painted puddle and a bent street sign'.

All four figures come out identical.

Change only one variable per figure: the main color, one accessory, or one small facial mark; the rest of the description has to reuse the same passage, or the four turn into four different characters.

Notes

  • The key to a blind box is the sense of a series: one shared passage for material and proportions plus one variable per figure. If you want to sell them as a set, lock the master prompt first.
  • The box is the most useful element and also the easiest one to break: the less text on the front, the more stable the result, and color blocks and graphics are safer than text.
